Volksoper - La Traviatta

Yesterday I went to the "Wiener Volksoper" with Veronique, Pavel and other people and we saw "La Traviatta! von Verdi. It was great, I really liked it. I have never seen this oper before but during the evening I recognized several arias which I already knew. I think we will go for a ballet next week. My health condition is getting better. I feel fine. I am having my hip-hop lesson tonight and for weekend I go to Prague to see my boyfriend, finally! Hugs to everybody!

Something for the grandmothers

I don´t have any big news today. I am just struggling with a little cold and I am studying. I just wanted to tell everybody (especially to my family) that I have here everything I need and I eat well. Just take a look!

Weekend in Bojkovice

I spend last weekend in the Czech Republic with my beloved friends (Monenka, Hrusticka and Verusha). We went to Monika´s house in Bojkovice and I tried rock-climbing for the first time.

On Saturday we also visited a fair in Uherský Brod. I had to go to such a crazy pendulum. I felt little bit sick after I got down but I survived a here I am back in Vienna, studying and studying and studying! This week is terrible. I have so many things to do and I don´t have enough time for everything. I also have to sleep sometimes :-o. I hope it gets better next week! Plus all the books and readers are so expensive! University start!!!

I was quite busy this week and I didn´t have time to write anything. On Monday I wrote the test from German grammar. I did well - I got into the best group and so I could have this course accredited as a CEMS language exam if I pass it, of course :-).

Then I was studying for another test (entry exam to SAP course). A few hours ago I´ve just found out that I got in. Hurrah!

We went swimming yesterday, it was fine and then we went to the Karaoke party, again. We stayed til 3 o´clock, I had fun.

Today there was the first german class and I bought myself a new dark blue beautiful coat in HM and at last but not at least I had my first hip-hop lesson today. We are visiting it with Anita, it will be every Thursday. I am quite tired after the very first time but it was cool.

Tomorrow I am going to see my deer friends to Morava for a weekend, good night.

Trip to Graz - Sa 29.9.2007

I am really glad I went to Graz (2. biggest City after Vienna) because I have never been there before and it is a very nice City. We went at 8:30 from Vienna and got to Graz before noon. Then we had a very rich lunch in an austrian "Gaststätte". We got a guided tour through the City Centre but I really didn´t register the names of the buidings and such things because it was very fast. That was bad because I would want to spend more time there but unfotunately we had to go back to Vienna at 17:30. I arrived at 21:00 to my dorm and I really have to go sleeping. Good night! And of course, here you have some pictures.

Kochparty

On Friday I went shopping and I bought myself new green streetshoes reduced to 19,95 € from 30 € - what a succes! We had another "Kochparty" as we say here in Vienna in the evening. This time "Haus Döbling" and Pavel + Eva (Danish girl) were cooking. We had pancakes with jam, yoghurt, bananas and apples - it was delicious!!! We played a drinking game and we were dancing. I went to bed very late.

Vienna State Oper

Today we had a tour in the Vienna State Oper.

It was very crowded there and the excursion was too fast but I enjoed it, though. Then we went to the State Oper Museum.
Later in the afternoon I went with Anita for a cup of coffee with Gerald (our buddy). He is really nice and we were talking about life in Vienna and about WU and courses here.

The weather was very poor today, it was raining almost whole day.

I came early to my dormitory and did some stuff to school.

Schönbrunn

Today I saw Schönbrunn from the inside but it was forbidden to take photos there. That´s why I just enclose one picture from the outside. The weather is getting worse, though. No blue sky anymore.

More Vienna Adventure

On Monday I was in the Ottakringer Brewery with the OK program. Ottakringer is the most favourite beer in Vienna and may be in whole Austria. It was very funny, we got some beer for free and then there was a dinner at Haus Erasmus where the Hungarian girls are living. We made tortellini and played some games together. Today we went to the ORF centre where we had a guided tour as well. We saw the studios and stuff like that. I bought my first book for the SAP course and I will have to start studying.

Indian summer coming to Vienna

I am still having the Orientation program and we have already done some sightseeing and we have been to the Austrian Parliament.

Yesterday there was another Erasmus welcome party but I didn´t stay very long there.

Today (Saturday,22.9.) I went to the Zoo in Schönbrunn with Veronique and we were walking in the Gardens. It was very sunny and warm day and we enjoyed it very much. Sadly we didn´t see the little new born panda-baby because it is still very small and they don´t show it to the public. Then I went just for a short time to see how Prater looks like. But we haven´t tried any attraction yet. Tomorrow I am going to learn for my German class and SAP course.
