Friday - Pizza and Party in Manolos

After the amazing day with Porsche I went to have a pizza with some people-Anne-Laure,Kim, Pavel, Eva, Michael und Tobias. I got to know ahother nice and cheap place to eat. Then we joined a small CEMS party of some austrian girls in the Club Manolos.

Ost-West - Presentation and Porsche Driving

On Friday I went to Melk, with all people from the Ost-west Projektseminar and we did the presentation for representatives of Porsche Holding - the biggest car seller in Austria. Our presentation went very well we got a nice feedback but then the best part of the day came. We could test 6 luxurious cars ourselves, it was in fact a driving training, in some parts of the ring there was water on the road and it was slippery. I tried Porsche Carerra, Porsche Cayenne, Audi S4 and Audi A5 and VW Touran. The best car was probably the new Audi S4 - well you could buy it just for 150,000€ :-) and of course Porsche Carerra (in the picture with me), this one was fast like a sting. All the cars had electronical anti-slide steering so even if you pushed gas on the slippery road the car blocked the pedal and almost nothing happened and you could change the direction of your riding. So we could go full speed into the water and then push the full brake and nothing happened, amazing :-).

Zentralfriedhof Wien

We went to the Central Cemetery of Vienna with Véro today where a lot of famous people are buried (Beethoven, Straus, Brahms, Mozart has a memorial there). It was quite interesting and then we ended in a Café at Schwedenplatz which my friends already know for and we had a piece od cake. It was a nice afternoon. Check this picture with the sign : Amazing, huh?

Dinner on Wednesday

I´ve had dinner together with some people in my dorm on Wednesday and we eventually made some pictures. So I would like to introduce you to "Belayne", a boy from Ethiopia, who lives on the same floor with me and I really like him. He is often telling us many things about his country, he is very intelligent and also generous although he is not exactly the richest one. And then there were traditional faces - Martin, Karol, Julien etc....

The legendary U4 Diskothek

I am back with further news. On Tuesday we went to the U4 Diskothek - the most famous and a very old club in Vienna. I must admit it was just great - the music they play there is fantastic. Although it was quite hard to get up in the morning after this night, we really enjoyed it.

Volksoper - Hoffmanns Erzählungen

Today my cultural experience was really intensive because I also went to the Volksoper to see the oper from J. Offenbach "Hoffmanns Erzählungen". I liked it same as other performances I´ve seen there. We went with Véro, Martin, Pavel and one of his friends.

UNO-City in Vienna

I have visited the seat of the UNO in Vienna this morning. We had a guided tour just for 4 people so it was very interesting because we could ask anything. I went with Martin Klimes. I especially liked the big hall with 193 flags of almost all countries in the world.

WU BALL 2008 in Hofburg

Well, the biggest social event of this semester is over! I have visited the Ball of our University in Hofburg. It was great, really monumental atmosphere, huge rooms and dancing floors, live orchesters, rich flower decoration. We came in at 9 and stayed til 4:30. I was dancing with Karol - the Polish boy, and there were really a lot of people who I have met during this semester so I had a lof of fun. The best way how to describe the whole evening are probably pictures so just take a look.

Beruska and Hrusticka in Vienna

I went back to Vienna on the 3rd January and the day after that two of my best friends came to visit me - Berenika and Lucka Hruska. We spent a very pleasant weekend together: full of After-Christmas-sightseeing and having fun. I showed them a lot mainly on Saturday but we have nearly frozen down because it was so .......ing cold weather that we had to look for every sheltered place to warm our bodies and sometimes even souls :-)). Girls bought themselves some things :-)). We went for a dinner to my beloved pub Selbstverständlich where we ate very well. Our impression has been just a little bit spoiled when we were waiting for the dessert almost one hour. But anyway I am very glad that girls have visited me. I am grateful for having my friends and family. Don´t worry I haven´t gone mad I am just in a melancholic mood today and I would like to tell everybody that you should always have a great regard for your friends and people who care about you.
